3lbs jalapeño, halved with stem removed
1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and roughly chopped
1 white onion, diced large
6 garlic cloves, peeled and halved
1tsp ground cumin
- Toss together in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Roast together on a baking sheet in a 475F oven for about 18 minutes, stirring occasionally and looking for a dark roast to appear.
- Transfer to blender and purée with high-quality apple cider vinegar and apple juice, white sugar, and a small amount of cold water for consistency.
- Cool and enjoy on oysters! …or anything else!
